With over 150 miles of wide, golden sandy beaches is it any wonder that they named this the golden coast. With tree lined promenades, which are abundant with shops and ice cream parlours it’s a great place to be by day, but once darkness falls there are more than enough bars and disco’s to keep everyone happy. You can jump on the train to Barcelona for a touch of culture or even a touch of star spotting, where you might just see famous faces such as Christina Aguilera, Julia Roberts or Samuel L Jackson. Alternatively take a trip to an amazing fun packed theme park, neither should be missed if you decide to take the short flight to the Costa Dorada.

Eating Out

Offering great value for money and a variety of options for dining the tourist area of Salou caters for everyone, especially families. Traditional Paella and local stews feature on many menues, others offer huge succulent steaks, spicy chicken or pizzas the size of which has to be seen to be believed. The full English breakfast is served at most cafes and bars, its upto you to find the best price for the best breakfast then make it your regular stop off for the rest of your holiday.
